Rules
Quiet Hours
10:30pm to 7:30am
We guarantee that your neighbors will be more pleasant if they get a full night’s sleep.
Speed Limit
Speed limit throughout the park is 10mph. Please make sure that anyone that you invite to the park also abides by the speed limit. Please be mindful that there are children playing around the park. Please drive as though they were your children……..
Your Site
While we are not going to count your lawn ornaments or ice chests, we do ask that you please keep your campsite or cabin neat, clean, and tidy always. Keep the yard décor to a minimum and we can all be happy campers. Please no indoor appliances or exercise equipment in your site or on cabin decks. We do allow small freezers if they are in good condition and kept clean and tidy. Please remember that we are committed to having a Safe, Clean, and Quiet RV park. Anything in your site that might present a hazard to yourself or someone else will not be allowed. No clotheslines please.
DON’T MESS WITH TEXAS
Remember that this is TEXAS and Texans don’t take kindly to littering. This includes cigarette butts. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in this matter! We have ample dumpster space for your convenience.
Please do not dispose of hot coals in the dumpster. We also ask that all campfires be in a grill or fire ring with an appropriate screen cover. While we do support our local volunteer fire department, we prefer to do that by donating money to them not requiring their services.
Sewer
Please make sure to use a donut sewer connection with a secure fit. Failure to use a donut may result in backing up the sewer line upstream from you. We know a thing or two because we’ve……you get the point. Makes for a really, really bad day.
Pets
We are pet friendly as long as your pets are friendly. For the safety of your fur babies and other guests, we ask that you keep your pets on a leash and under your physical control when outside of your camper or a cabin. We have a no tolerance policy with unleashed dogs and will not allow guests to stay that refuse to follow this rule. We do have a large dog park where your dog may play off leash, but please do not leave your dog unattended. Your dog will miss you and that would be sad. If your dog poops, please pick it up. The poop, not your dog. Any dog that shows any aggression toward other dogs or other guests will be asked to leave.
Decorum
No public intoxication will be tolerated. Violence or threat of violence will not be tolerated. Illegal behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. Loud, obnoxious, disorderly, boisterous, or unlawful conduct or conduct that disturbs or threatens the rights, comfort, or convenience of others in or near the property will not be tolerated. You might notice a change in tone here. We are committed to providing guests with a Safe, Clean, and Quiet camping experience, and this is our home too.
Flags
We love our American flag and welcome all to proudly fly it if it is shown proper respect. We do not allow the American flag to be dishonored on the park grounds in any way. We also welcome the flying of the Texas flag and the COME AND TAKE IT flag. No other flags may be publicly displayed. Not sure what a COME AND TAKE IT flag is? Ask one of our staff. We’d love to tell you the story! (Or you can Google it, but that wouldn’t be as much fun for us.)
Cabins
In addition to the above, the following rules apply to our cabins.
No smoking inside the cabins. . Pets less than 30 lbs only and with a pet deposit and weekly cleaning fees . Please treat our cabins as though your mother might drop by at any moment. Damage other than normal wear and tear to the interior of the cabins will be the financial responsibility of the cabin guest. Extended stay cabin guests must allow Southbound Staff to clean at least weekly. This allows us to provide the best guest experience possible. In addition, because these cabins are fully furnished, we do not allow additional furniture to be brought inside the cabins or placed on the porches, camping chairs excluded.
Diversity
We welcome all guests regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, age, or sexual orientation.
In order to maintain safety for all of our guests, we do reserve the right to deny lodging to registered sex offenders.
